My client, a well-established Financial Planning firm located on the eastern outskirts of Norwich are looking to bolster their employee benefit team.

Whilst you will be located in my clients head office in Norwich, they have offices nationwide and do support home working.

Working in conjunction with my clients existing employee benefit team you will develop and maintain profitable, long-term client relationships through the provision of first-class Group Risk and Healthcare advice and services.

You will also ensure that all business is conducted in accordance with the Company’s Compliance Procedures and Professional Standards.

You will ideally have experience working in protection, e.g. death in service, income protection, critical illness cover and private medical insurance. If you come from a very similar role the salary available would be significantly higher.

You will benefit from a huge amount of support and once trained to provide advice be allocated your own admin' support, though ongoing support will always be provided.
Principal Accountabilities:

To agree and implement a Business Plan each year to ensure the firm’s qualitative and quantitative business measures are achieved.

To establish contact with potential clients via prospecting, relationships with professional connections, referrals from existing clients and making referrals to other colleagues where applicable.

To actively progress new business enquiries if passed on, including liaising with the prospective client and following the new business process accordingly.

To obtain the required information to identify the client demands and needs identifying the most suitable products and providers and making recommendations in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with company procedures.

To directly handle and service clients for the provision of and renewal of their Group Risk and Healthcare arrangements as permitted under the individual licence arrangement.

To use Curo as directed and effectively plan and prioritise workloads to ensure client servicing is conducted as agreed.

To ensure complete and accurate client records are maintained electronically, complying with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018.

To develop relationships with clients, employers and providers and communicating the progress of business as required.

To undertake other ad-hoc tasks and projects as requested by Managers and/or Directors.

To continually develop relevant regulatory, product and provider knowledge and undertake continuous professional development in line with company policy and record accordingly.


Level 3 – Certificate in Insurance (Health & Protection exams) - working towards if not already held

Hours of work 9-5 Monday to Friday
