My client is a busy removals firm who have the opportunity for a new member of staff to join their team of removers.
The role is self explanatory; you will be responsible, as part of a friendly and very hard-working crew, for the safe and careful full or part removals of peoples household items and taken to their new destination, wherever that may be.
For this role, you must be physically fit. There is no getting away from this fact. You will be lifting awkward, heavy cumbersome items and carrying them down stairs and into a van.
You will need to be polite, respectful and courteous as you are in other peoples homes and you will have good communication skills, being able to interact well with your colleagues and with the clients too, both verbally and written.
As with this type of role, there are no standard hours. It is the nature of removals. Weekdays. Weekends. Early starts. Late nights. Being stuck somewhere for hours; it’ll all happen. So, if you’re a 9 to 5 type of person with your eye always on the clock, then this isn’t for you. Apply for something else! Flexibility is a must!
This role will start as a temporary position with strong possibility of a permanent role.
