As a remote administrator you will have a strong practical aptitude to ensure my clients programmes operate compliantly, effectively, and efficiently. To achieve this you will provide hands-on, solutions focussed administrative support to the Adult Education Budget (AEB) Team.

Key responsibilities

The scope of the role is to provide administrative support to my clients Adult Education Budget (AEB) Team and includes:

• Supporting colleagues and learners throughout the various programmes delivered by performing a range of administrative tasks in a compliant, accurate and timely manner
• Ensuring the needs of all stakeholders are satisfied through provision of excellent customer service.
• Maintaining lofty standards of communication, compliance, and administration in accordance with company procedures and policies.
• Keeping up to date with changes to project funding rules from the Education and Skills Funding Agency and supporting the implementation of these changes throughout the business.
• Working collaboratively across all areas of the business to meet and maintain stakeholder requirements
• Contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the business.
• Ensuring all data is stored, cleansed, and maintained in line with GDPR guidelines.
• Collating and preparing data accurately to meet external stakeholder auditing requirements.
• Maintaining accurate statistical and financial data, reports and records as required.
• Providing accurate reports for the Senior Management Team as required.
• Ownership of data entry on to Learner Management Systems across all areas of provision.
• Supporting the development and implementation of performance enhancing administrative processes.
• Reviewing audit files to ensure income and other resources are drawn in accordance with the aims of the activity as governed by any contractual arrangements.
• Supporting the senior management and business support teams in preparation for regulatory audits (ESFA, PFA, Ofsted etc.)

Key Accountabilities

Support my clients development through a broad range of business changes
Provide objective advice to department heads so informed decisions are made against business strategies
Identify areas of opportunity and propose new ideas by taking a creative, solution focussed approach
Identify areas of risk arising from stakeholders' experience or with the systems or processes
Ensuring continuous improvement of performance and quality standards across my clients business in a supportive and objective manner
Ensure both internal and external performance and quality standards are met
Ensuring that all stakeholders are communicated with in a polite, professional, and timely manner
Keep Departmental Managers updated
Contribute to a culture of performance and quality built on transparency, respect, and high professional standards


Proven experience as an administrative assistant
Hands on experience with MS Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Interpersonal Skills

Enthusiasm, positivity, motivation, and commitment
Patience and a sense of humour
A strong commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) with evidence of own ongoing CPD.
Knowledge of the Adult Education Budget funding rules and Ofsted framework. (desirable)
