My client, who specialises in the procurement for the public sector, is looking for a Portfolio Office Analyst to join their team for 6 months.

The company are responsible for saving their customers time and money by finding them the right solutions and help them to buy products such as electricity, stationary, advertising and transport.

Job duties (not exhaustive list):
- Identify and manage portfolio risks
- Create reports from projects and analyse the performance
- Work with the business to identify new projects
- Liaise with different stakeholders and maintaining these relationships
- Owning all master copies of the portfolio information whilst maintaining and updating the document ion and creating an electronic library of the portfolio information
- Help develop mechanisms for measuring the benefits

Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written and within presentations)
- Proven matrix management and leadership skills
- The ability to negotiate with different stakeholders
- At least 2 years' experience of managing a number of projects or managing a programme office function
- Active listening skills
- Portfolio and Project Management qualification (such as APM) is desired
