We have a unique opportunity for an Operations Administrator to join a leading & established UK company that develops and provides automated technologies for utilities.

Salary £20,000pa - £23,000pa DOE

Monday to Friday.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter to join the Operations team in a role offering a wide variety of responsibilities supporting all aspects of the Operations department all within a busy and demanding environment. This is a pivotal position to ensure operational efficiency is delivered throughout the business, from the Warehouse through to Finance.

Responsibilities include;

Ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded on SAGE accounting software.
Managing all logistical aspects to ensure all dispatches and shipments are done timely, in accordance with HMRC requirements, including but not limited to;
o Preparing stock ready for despatch.

o Packing and labelling stock ready for shipment.

o Coordinating and liaising with freight agents.

o Preparing related paperwork (including commercial invoices).

Processing Purchase Ledger invoices and dealing with supplier queries, whilst working closely with finance to ensure prompt payment of suppliers (by Finance department).
Raise all Purchase Orders in relation to all purchases of goods & services.
Receive goods both physically and on SAGE.
Scan and distribute all post.
Attend bi-monthly calls in relation to stock.
Support stock takes along with investigate discrepancies and process related required movements.
Responsible for Sales Order processing on SAGE through to related stock movements when goods are dispatched to customers
Adhoc office and administration support tasks as required
Personal Specifications;

Self-motivated and confident to work without supervision and to deadlines.
Ability to adapt and work effectively on a variety of tasks at once.
Knowledge of shipping requirement and INCO terms.
Organisational skills and efficiency shown through good practice and processes.
Approachable and good interpersonal skills with internal and external customers and suppliers.
A team player, including building and maintaining strong relationships with relevant stakeholders.
Able to plan, manage and prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met.
