A brand new role has become available for a Programme Manager to join a progressive and modern communications business with the requisite to manage an Implementation Programme, driving excellence throughout the team. The projects will be led by a team of Project Managers with the Programme Manager taking overall accountability for the programme and the teams working on each individual project. This is therefore a high-profile role with full managerial, budget and programme accountabilities.

This role needs someone with passion and flair to lead the Project Management Team, dealing with both direct and indirect reports and successfully overseeing the AV Implementation Programme

This exciting, fast paced and demanding role will really utilise all of your skills and will consist of the following;

- Creating, managing and monitoring budget, schedule and specification for multiple global projects simultaneously
- Reviewing and establishing the PMO Programme governance framework, including policies and procedures
- Ensuring programme conformance to governance policies and processes
- Creating, monitoring, and communicating the programme roadmap
- Managing interdependencies between the projects within the programme
- Monitoring and managing programme risks, performance, and communications
- Managing and escalating, as required to the steering committee, programme risks, issues and opportunities
- Monitoring and reporting on overall programme budget
- Assessing programme benefits and ensure they remain aligned with the programme strategy
- Liaising with and driving multiple internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
- Project managing a set of change projects
- Preparing reports for the COO
- Working to KPI’s set within the business
- Understanding P&L
- Driving the companies strategic vision .

Along with the drive, determination, passion and general positivity, you will also need the following attributes for this;

- Highly computer literate MS office including MS Projects
- Programme Management experience
- Prince2 or equivalent
- CTS
- UK Driving License
- Demonstrable track record of Programme Office Manager, driving change and processes Qualities and Attitude
- Great leadership skills with experience of leading teams
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills at all levels (both for internal and external teams)
- Ability to maintain great working relationships (both internally & externally)
- Ability to project a professional & enthusiastic image at all times providing leadership and motivation to the teams (inc. stakeholders and suppliers), setting out clear goals & parameters
- Adaptable with the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities
- Ability to show initiative, self-motivation and innovation
- A highly analytical and logical approach to work
- Ability to plan & prioritise workload, ensuring all given deadlines are met
- Programme and Project Management
- Delivered medium to large scale programme within the construction, engineering and retail/e-commerce sector
- Line manager experience of a small to medium sized team
- Able to travel and work extended hours without constraint
- Product Knowledge of Audio Visual industry or one that can self-develop knowledge and has an interest in technologies
