My client is a Norfolk based, well-established provider of Wills & Estate Planning Advice, this includes Will writing, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney. The business is currently looking for a further consultant to represent them in important face to face client meetings, to discuss and advise in regard to their financial legacy.

This is a remote, Norfolk/Suffolk based consultancy role, working on a self-employed commission only basis (uncapped).

Role details

You will have a number of appointments made on your behalf and you will meet with clients in their homes (though these are currently held via “Zoom”), and carry out a fact find to advise and establish what people need, depending on their individual circumstances with respect to estate planning.

The ideal candidate for the role will be need to be knowledgeable regarding Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Inheritance tax planning and Estate Planning in general. Ongoing support and additional training will be provided as necessary, however it is essential you have the knowledge now, to be credible and knowledgeable in front of clients.

You will have a good understanding of the complexities of estate planning and provide assurance to my clients’ customer base.

You will be provided with branded literature to take out to appointments; all marketing and sales are dealt with by my clients’ head office, it is important to state that the role will not involve any cold calling, all appointments booked are with clients who have already agreed to be seen.

Once you have carried out an initial fact find this will be handed over to someone to complete the proposed advice, the purpose of this role is only to meet with the client, provide advice and complete the fact find.

You must therefore have a personable manner and proven ability to build rapport, an empathetic nature that is reassuring.

You will be an autonomous and disciplined individual, conscientious and caring.

You must hold a current drivers’ licence and access to your own vehicle.

You can work whatever hours you wish, and you are also able to fit this in around another job that may even benefit, for example Financial Planning.

Any clients you may directly provide will be negotiated upon in terms of commission, at preferential rate, though it is important to point out you will not be required to do this as part of the job role, all clients are provided.

The OTE is not capped, and commission is negotiable depending on experience.
