My client is a well-established IFA practice based in the heart of Norwich city, offering bespoke advice to both corporate and private clients.

The purpose of this role is in two phases, this role is offers an incredible career development, opportunity.

Initially, phase one is to work closely with both my clients Senior Administrator and the Corporate Services Director to gain experience, knowledge and a better understanding of the technical aspects of the Workplace Pension and Employee Benefit industry, and to fully understand my clients services, proposition and the employee benefits market. This will include undertaking administrative functions and a support role to assist the team.

After initial training, phase two, the purpose of the role to develop is to build on what has already been learnt so the role holder can deal with both internal and external queries from all levels (CEOs to employees), build professional working relationships with clients, prospects, providers and introducers, via the telephone, email and face to face. To remain client focused at all times and ensure all client information is accurate and maintained. To provide an adviser level of service within the Corporate Services Team, including providing a high-quality service and advice to Corporate Services Clients, relating to Workplace Pensions and Employee Benefits; challenge existing processes and make recommendations through presentations and implement improvements to processes where necessary, clearly explaining the justifications for this. Fully accountable and self-reliant in all work and be able to produce accurate work at all times with minimum input from others, whilst taking full ownership and responsibility and to increase market share from established / new clients

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities (First phase)

• Completing application forms, instruction letters and updating the back-office system with accuracy
• Requesting data from clients and collating data quote requests for insurers
• Requesting scheme data and information from providers
• Managing multiple workflows and prioritising activities
• Attaching post/emails to client records
• Contact with insurers and clients by telephone and e-mail
• Ensure all compliance standards are adhered to in all work and deadlines are met
• Manage your own workload throughout the day in line with daily requirements
• Maintain client confidentiality and data protection at all times
• Generate annual statements and invoices

Role and Responsibilities (Second phase)

• Producing draft recommendation reports, general reports, communications and documentation
• Producing, arranging and providing the draft reports for the employee benefit renewals
• Reviewing quotations and terms provided from open market exercises
• Producing, arranging and providing the draft reports for workplace pension reviews
• Contact with client and employees by telephone, e-mail and face to face including handling complex and sensitive queries that may be delegated to you.
• Provide information and guidance to employees, including delivering presentations to in-person and online
• Meet agreed Client service levels
• Designing, improving and implementing new proposition ideas
• Excel data analysis and providing solutions
• Researching new companies and their products

Skills & Experience Required

Self-motivated, accountable and committed with strong desire to learn
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal using all formats) with ability to use the correct of level of language and terminology for the target audience (both internally and externally)
Mindful to ask for help when required and ability to learn from mistakes
Confident interpersonal skills and empathy
Desire to challenge processes, make recommendations, and present own ideas/changes with justification of doing so
Strong time management skills with great organisation and prioritisation of own workload
Highly numerate with excellent problem-solving skills and consistently solutions focussed
High quality of written and spoken English and Maths
Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Qualifications
GCSE level education (or equivalent) with Maths and English
A Level and Degree attainment (desirable)
Relevant Financial Services qualifications will be advantageous
Diploma in Financial Planning (DipFPS) or working towards would be desirable.
