My client are a busy family law practice situated in the heart of Norwich City; they are currently looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to bolster one of their conveyancing teams dealing with the sale and purchase of freehold properties.
The desirable candidate will need a knowledge of the conveyancing process and at least 6 months recent experience in a conveyancing role.
The purpose of the role will be to carry out clerical tasks such as money laundering checks.
You will need to posses a confident telephone manner as you will be talking with clients, estate agents other solicitors etc. It's very important to keep clients updated throughout the process.
You will need basic computer skills and will deal with emails from clients and other solicitors, mortgage providers and Local Authorities.
It is also important that you can work to a high degree of accuracy in a fast paced environment working to deadlines.
Salary will be dependent on each applicants experience skills & qualifications but is likely to be in the range £17,000 - £22,000. More experienced applicants ( 2 years plus exp) could earn more depending on skills etc.
Hours are 9-5 ( or equivalent) with an hour off for lunch.
4 weeks (20 days) holiday per yr plus bank holidays.
