A rapidly growing IT company offering a diverse range of products and services to their clients is seeking a hard working 1st Line IT Support technician to be the first point of call for all their customers.
This is your chance to work with a creative and dynamic team of individuals in a fast-paced, energising environment.
Required to have a good phone manner and remain organised. Diligent, tidy, logical and the ability to take responsibility. Must be consistent to target and remain calm under pressure whilst being punctual and flexible.
Good IT and problem solving skills
Good written and oral skills
To be confident on the phone when dealing with clients
To be keen to learn and passionate about IT
Experience working in the outsourced IT support industry (not essential)
This role may include:
Setting up and supporting computer Networks
Support for PCs and servers remotely and on-site (XP, Vista, Win7/8/10, 2003, 2008, 2012)
Installing PCs/ upgrading software
Administration of IP phone systems (via web based interface)
Supporting customer applications (training provided)
Setting up email accounts and website hosting (Linux and Windows)
Support for Mac's remotely and on-site.
